Resident Utility
System can now automatically import transmissions from sub meters into our system.
System can now audit meter transmissions and detect when we are experiencing no usage, high usage, low usage, meter wrap issues, and no transmission. System can also automatically estimate transmissions if law permits estimating the reads.
Last Tuesday, we introduced Property Solutions’ new resident utility billing product, ResidentUtility, via webinar. Modifications were made to Resident Utility billing platform to accommodate the unique relationship between water and waste water utilities. The system can now use one set of meter transmissions to calculate water and waste water usage.
In November, Property Solutions distributed a survey to multifamily professionals asking a series of questions about on-the-job technology use. The survey was designed to measure usage, aptitude, and attitudes toward technology platforms used by property management professionals on a regular basis.
The 136 respondents who participated represent a wide range of property and portfolio sizes from 25-30 unit properties to portfolios managing over 130,000 units. The majority of participants described their primary job responsibilities as management, leasing, and marketing, with a number of Accounting, Operations, Sales, and IT specialists participating as well.

Resident Insure
Residents can now log into ResidentInsure.com from ResidentPortal without typing in a username and password! This is a silent login, so they won’t need to know separate credentials to manage their renters insurance policy. This was the most-requested update for Resident Insure, and we’re happy to accomodate.
